A Guide to Split-screen View on Samsung Tablet

EK Wireless | Houston's #1 Cell Phone Repair & Unlocking Store Tips & Quick Hacks A Guide to Split-screen View on Samsung Tablet

There are several reasons to purchase one of the top Samsung tablets. Maybe you need a huge and gorgeous screen to get through your Netflix watchlist. You might want to use the S Pen’s capabilities to produce some masterpieces. Alternatively, you could be seeking for a capable gaming tablet as well as a business computer. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab lineup can easily fill all of these responsibilities.

However, regardless of your requirements, it is critical to make the most of a large screen. The main advantage of a tablet over a smartphone is its larger screen, which is especially well-suited to multitasking and displaying many programs at once. So, whether you’re checking instructions or communicating, taking notes while sitting in a meeting, or reading a book while keeping an eye on social media, here’s how to use split-screen view on a Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet.

Using Android’s built-in tools is the simplest approach to use split-screen mode. Split-screen mode was first offered on Samsung devices in Android 9.0 Pie, which was more than four years ago, thus most recent Samsung tablets should have this functionality. Here’s how to put it to use.

Step 1: Launch the first app in split-screen mode. This is not needed, but you must be able to locate the app in your recent apps list.

Step 2: To access your recent apps list, swipe up from the bottom of your tablet and hold it for a second, or tap the Recent apps button in your menu bar.

Step 3: Tap the icon of the program you want to use.

Step 4: Select Open in split-screen mode.

Step 5: Your app will launch on the right, and your app drawer will launch on the left.

Step 6: In your app drawer, select the second app you wish to open, and it will appear next to your first app.

You can use the two apps normally from here, but there are some extra tactics you can utilize as well. The windows can be resized by dragging the bar between them, but you can also open one app in Pop-up View instead.

Instead of opening your preferred app in split-screen mode, you can open it in a small pop-up window. You may do this from the recent apps menu or while an app is already open in split-screen mode.

To access the recent applications menu:

Step 1: Go to the Recent Apps menu.

Step 2: Select Open in pop-up view from the app’s icon.

Do you already have the app open in split-screen mode? Here’s how to make it a pop-up window.

Step 1: Tap the blue line at the app’s top.

Step 2: Click the Pop-up View button. It should be at the top of the list.
